Bosch 1619PA5591 Replacement Armature for Power Tools - Compatible with Drills, Saws & Grinders - Durable Motor Part for DIY & Professional Use

I was very pleased to have found this item. I do not have a Bosch table saw, but I can confirm that this armature (1619PA5591) is the correct part to repair a Ridgid TS2400-1 motor. These motors with a plastic housing are apparently notorious for burning up the armature or field windings. In mine, the brushes and the armature had somehow interfered with one another -- brushes were chewed up and had broken chunks out of the armature. Parts for this Ridgid motor are not available, and the motor assembly itself is end of life and no longer available (no surprise there...not the best design). I had seen anecdotal evidence that the Bosch and Ridgid portable saws of this vintage were basically the same, so I took a chance. Works like a charm and the table saw is back in service. Along with this part, I recommend also ordering new brushes and both bearings.
