Estoy feliz con esta piezaBosch quality at a good price. FYI this base will fit the same style craftsman router. Both were made by Bosch. The craftsman is just rebranded. Smooth travel when adjusting height. Can be a bit of a pain to get the router in the base at first.I've gone through two bases in just a few months, so I guess it works great for about a day or so. On both bases and within just a few days, the E retaining ring on the adjustment rod that is too flimsy to handle adjusting the router on a table bends out of shape and falls off. The first base I had got stuck so badly, I basically had to break the base to get it off the router. Shame on me because this happened on the 2nd base. The E retaining ring snaps out of place, so I tried a "fix", but after a few days, that didn't work either. So, here I am again with the router stuck in the base with a bent out of shape E retaining ring, a striped adjustment rod (allen wrench no longer works), and the stem itself is stripped in the base. Thus, the macro adjustment lever is stuck in place, which means my router is stuck, stuck, stuck. I called Bosch customer service who gave me two options: send it in for repair or take it to an authorized repair location.From this trend with this base in particular, I will be getting this repaired or replaced every other week. No thank you.This is a replacement, rather, my second. I stand my router up side down, to adjust my work. If I bump it ,it flips off to the floor.The only thing I do to help with adjustments is to put a little anti-seize inside. Duh aluminum to aluminum don’t slide , it locks up.5 starsGoodBought this as a replacement for an identical unit that had developed a crack along a tapped hole. As stated, this part is identical so I am happy.This is a router base, it makes a perfect base for the specific model it was built for.Not a new unit soldExactly what I expected.
